What you are looking at here is an image of one of the best days in my life! I took Hannah and Jack up to Lake Ingalls (in the Stewart Mountan Range) and we were treated to some of the most breath taking views. Although it was a long hike (9 miles round trip) every step of the way was worth it.
I am so proud of my kids for taking on this challenge and handling it extremely well. It is not an easy hike, and there were moments where turning around was a more popular vote than going all the way to the finish. But we accomplished our goal and we learned how much we could push ourselves and persevere through the challenge. I love that I can share times like this with them and I hope they always remember it. Thanks Hannah and Jack!

This is a great shot and it is special of the 3 of you. It doesn't look like WA up there, not trees. I love this shot and wish I was with you. Mom
